Sharjah Private Schools Academic Calendar 2025-2026

The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has released the academic calendar for the 2025-2026 school year.

The academic calendar, now available on the SPEA website, covers schools offering UK, IB, US, and Indian curricula.

It’s worth noting that private schools have some flexibility to choose their own dates (notably staff training days, phasing return to school at the start of the academic year and mid-term/half-term breaks).

As long as they meet the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) requirement for a minimum of 188 school days for MOE curriculum schools and 182 days for international curriculum schools, schools can make adjustments as needed. Parents will therefore need to confirm the individual calendar for their child’s school.
